Bamboo rib construction
Soft diffused ambient glow

Description

A compact paper lamp inspired by traditional Japanese lantern forms. Mugi uses delicate rice paper over a lightweight frame to soften the bulb into a warm, gentle glow.

Its small footprint and sculptural shade make it a natural fit for bedside tables, shelves and low surfaces where calm ambient light matters more than brightness.

Was looking for something to put on a low shelf and this worked perfectly. When it’s on you barely notice the bulb itself, just the glow.

The paper is quite delicate so you need to be a little careful with it. Looks beautiful though.
