Terms of service

Last updated: 23 September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lampeek online store and any purchases made through it.

By placing an order with Lampeek, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before completing your purchase.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or overrides any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.

1. About Lampeek

The seller is:

Lampeek
ul. Św. Filipa 23/1
31-150 Kraków
Poland

Email: hello@lampeek.com

Our online store is operated using the Shopify ecommerce platform.

2. Who can place an order

To place an order, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the law applicable to you.

If you are under the age at which you can legally enter into a purchase contract in your country, an order should be placed by or with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order.

3. Products

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as reasonably possible.

Product pages may include information about:

  • dimensions;
  • materials;
  • colours;
  • lighting characteristics;
  • power or charging requirements;
  • included accessories;
  • assembly; and
  • other product-specific features.

Please review the product page before ordering.

Colours and finishes may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting conditions and natural variations in materials. This does not affect your rights where a product materially differs from its description or fails to meet applicable legal requirements.

Where a product includes natural materials, minor variations in grain, texture, tone or pattern may occur and are not necessarily defects.

4. Product availability

All orders are subject to product availability.

We may occasionally discover after an order is placed that a product or variant is unavailable.

If we cannot supply an item, we will contact you and issue any refund due for the affected item.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

5. Placing an order

Before submitting an order, you will have an opportunity to review the products selected, quantities, delivery information and the total amount payable.

Please check this information carefully and correct any errors before completing the order.

By submitting an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your cart under these Terms.

An automated order-confirmation email confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted for fulfilment.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, the purchase contract for an item becomes binding when we send confirmation that the item has been dispatched.

If an order contains products that are dispatched separately, different products may receive separate dispatch confirmations.

If we cannot accept or fulfil an order before dispatch, we will notify you and refund any amount already charged for the affected items within the timeframe stated in our Refund & Returns Policy.

6. Reasons we may decline an order

Before an order has been accepted, we may decline it for legitimate reasons, including where:

  • a product is unavailable;
  • we cannot deliver to the supplied address;
  • payment cannot be authorised;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or unauthorised payment activity;
  • an order exceeds reasonable purchasing limits;
  • we are legally prohibited from completing the transaction; or
  • there is an obvious and genuine error in the product, price or order information.

If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the affected amount.

We will not cancel an accepted consumer order merely because we later decide that the agreed price was commercially inconvenient.

7. Pricing

Prices displayed in the store may vary depending on your selected country, market and currency.

The total amount payable will be displayed before you submit your order.

Where required, applicable taxes are included in or calculated as part of the price shown at checkout.

For destinations available through our standard checkout, the amount charged at checkout is intended to be the final amount payable to Lampeek for the order. Our rules concerning duties and import charges are explained in our Shipping Policy.

Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may separately charge foreign-exchange or international transaction fees. These charges are imposed by that provider rather than Lampeek.

8. Obvious pricing errors

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate.

If a price is clearly incorrect because of an obvious technical or administrative error, we may contact you before accepting the order.

You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected item.

If we cannot contact you or you do not wish to proceed, we will cancel the affected item and refund any amount already paid for it.

Nothing in this section allows us to disregard a price simply because we later consider it less profitable than expected.

9. Payments

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may vary by country or market.

You must be authorised to use the payment method selected.

Payment processing may be provided by Shopify or other payment service providers displayed at checkout.

Payment providers may apply their own terms and security procedures.

If a payment is declined, reversed or cannot be verified, we may be unable to process the order.

10. Delivery

Our delivery arrangements, processing times, estimated delivery times, tracking rules and procedures for delayed or missing parcels are described in our Shipping Policy.

Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 2 business days.

After dispatch, delivery normally takes approximately 5–9 business days.

Standard tracked delivery is free of charge for orders placed through Lampeek.

Orders containing several products may be shipped in separate parcels, each with its own tracking number and potentially a different delivery date. You will not be charged additional delivery fees simply because we split an order into several parcels.

Delivery estimates do not remove or reduce any mandatory rights you may have if delivery is delayed or does not occur.

11. Order changes and cancellations

If you want to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at hello@lampeek.com.

We will try to make changes while the order is still being prepared.

Once a parcel has been collected by the carrier, we may no longer be able to physically stop or modify the shipment.

This operational limitation does not remove any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right you may have.

Further information is available in our Refund & Returns Policy.

12. Returns, refunds and faulty products

Our 30-day change-of-mind return policy and the procedures for damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect products are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.

The 30-day change-of-mind period is separate from your statutory rights regarding faulty or non-conforming products.

Those statutory rights may continue after the 30-day change-of-mind period.

We do not charge a fixed restocking fee for ordinary change-of-mind returns.

13. Sale and promotional items

Unless the specific promotion lawfully states otherwise, products purchased during a sale or promotion are covered by the same 30-day Lampeek change-of-mind return policy as products purchased at regular price.

Promotional terms never remove statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

14. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions, discount codes or special offers may be subject to additional terms displayed with the relevant promotion.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • discounts apply only during the stated promotional period;
  • a discount cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • discounts apply only to eligible products or orders; and
  • the final eligible discount is shown at checkout before payment.

If our checkout permits multiple promotions to be combined, the combined discount shown at checkout will apply unless the specific promotion states otherwise.

15. Product safety and use

Please use products in accordance with the information and instructions supplied with them and with any safety information displayed on the relevant product page.

Do not use or charge a lamp that appears damaged, unusually hot, electrically unsafe or otherwise defective.

If you believe a product may be unsafe, stop using it and contact us at hello@lampeek.com.

Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for supplying goods that meet applicable safety and consumer-protection requirements.

16. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Lampeek website, including text, graphics, logos, product photography, design elements, layout and original website content, is owned by or licensed to Lampeek and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes.

You may not, without permission:

  • reproduce substantial parts of the website for commercial use;
  • republish our original content as your own;
  • use our branding in a way that falsely suggests affiliation or endorsement; or
  • remove copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.

Nothing in these Terms restricts uses permitted by applicable law.

17. Reviews and customer content

If you submit a product review, photograph or other content to Lampeek, the content must reflect a genuine experience and must not be fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, abusive or infringe the rights of another person.

You remain responsible for content you submit and confirm that you have the necessary rights to provide it.

If a photograph contains another identifiable person, you should have permission to submit and publish that photograph where required.

Where you agree to publication, you grant Lampeek a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, resize, format and use the submitted content in connection with our store, customer communications and Lampeek marketing, subject to applicable privacy law and any more specific consent presented when the content is submitted.

We may refuse or remove content where reasonably necessary because it is:

  • fake or misleading;
  • unrelated to the product or purchase experience;
  • illegal or abusive;
  • spam;
  • infringing third-party rights; or
  • containing personal information that should not be publicly displayed.

We will not alter the substance of genuine reviews in a way that misrepresents customer opinion.

18. Acceptable use of the website

You must not use the Lampeek website:

  • for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
  • to interfere with the security or operation of the website;
  • to introduce malware, malicious code or harmful automated traffic;
  • to attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;
  • to impersonate another person; or
  • in a way that infringes the rights of Lampeek or another person.

We may take reasonable steps to protect the website, customers and our systems from misuse.

19. Third-party services and links

Our website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including payment, delivery, analytics or social-media services.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

A link to a third-party website does not necessarily mean that Lampeek endorses all content available there.

This section does not remove any responsibility Lampeek has for fulfilling your order or complying with applicable consumer law.

20. Website availability

We aim to keep the online store available and accurate, but temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, security events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may make reasonable changes to the website, its layout or functionality without affecting contracts already entered into with customers.

21. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury where liability cannot legally be excluded;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • goods that fail mandatory consumer guarantees or statutory requirements;
  • products that are not as described;
  • any liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit; or
  • any remedy that mandatory consumer law gives you.

Where permitted by law, Lampeek is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or that result from circumstances for which Lampeek is not legally responsible.

If you purchase as a consumer, we do not exclude liability for reasonably foreseeable losses caused by our breach of contract or failure to exercise legally required care.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or compensation available under applicable consumer law.

22. Events outside our reasonable control

Occasionally, performance may be delayed by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, major transport disruption, natural disasters, governmental action, carrier disruption or widespread infrastructure failure.

If such an event materially affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and keep you informed.

If the delay becomes significant, any rights you have to cancel the order or receive a refund under applicable law remain available.

23. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Information required to process an order may be shared with service providers where necessary to provide payment, fulfilment, delivery, customer support or other services connected with your order.

24. Electronic communications

When you place an order, you agree that we may provide order confirmations, dispatch notices, receipts and other contractual information electronically, including by email.

Please provide a valid email address and keep your contact details accurate.

This does not constitute consent to receive marketing messages where separate consent is required by law.

25. Complaints

If you are unhappy with an order or with how we have handled an issue, contact us at hello@lampeek.com.

Please provide your order number and a clear description of the issue so that we can investigate.

Using our internal complaint process does not prevent you from exercising any right to contact a consumer-protection authority, use an available dispute-resolution process or bring a claim before a competent court.

26. Consumer rights in the United Kingdom

Customers in the United Kingdom retain all mandatory rights under UK consumer law.

This includes rights relating to goods being of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, as well as applicable rights concerning delivery, cancellation, refunds and remedies for faulty goods.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to replace or restrict those rights.

27. Consumer rights in the European Union

Customers in the European Union retain all mandatory rights provided by applicable EU and national consumer law.

This includes applicable rights concerning pre-contract information, delivery, withdrawal from eligible distance contracts, refunds and remedies for goods that do not conform to the contract.

Nothing in these Terms reduces those protections.

28. Australian customers

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major failure, Australian consumers may be entitled to a replacement or refund and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If a product fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure, consumers may be entitled to have the product repaired or replaced in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts those rights.

29. United States customers

Customers in the United States retain any mandatory rights provided by applicable federal and state law.

Where applicable, we will comply with requirements concerning advertised prices, promised shipment times, delayed orders, refunds and product safety.

Nothing in these Terms waives rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

30. Governing law

These Terms and contracts with Lampeek are governed by the laws of Poland, except where mandatory law applicable to you provides otherwise.

If you are a consumer resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available under the law that would otherwise apply to you.

Nothing in this section removes any right you may have under applicable law to bring proceedings before a court in your country of residence or another competent court.

31. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will apply only to the extent legally permitted.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

32. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website or applicable law.

The Terms applicable to a purchase are generally those in effect when you place the order, together with any mandatory legal requirements.

We will not retrospectively change these Terms in order to reduce rights relating to an order already placed.

The latest version will be displayed on this page with its last-updated date.

33. Relationship with other policies

These Terms should be read together with:

If a specific product page or promotion contains additional terms, those terms apply to that product or promotion to the extent they are lawful and consistent with mandatory consumer rights.
